Four-platform e-commerce for a fragrance-oil brand in the Gulf
Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat all ran for one store, with a Meta sales campaign at 26.43 ROAS and a flagship GCC campaign at 4.17.
The brief
Shurfan sells concentrated fragrance oils, incense and room scents online to customers across the Gulf. Ads highlight individual scents in single-image and carousel formats.
The objective is website purchases. Meta carried the largest spend, with Google Search and Shopping campaigns, TikTok conversion and awareness campaigns, and Snapchat campaigns alongside.
Meta purchase ROAS by campaign
Higher is better. The best bar is gold.
How the account was structured
- Meta: a GCC sales campaign, a smaller sales campaign, traffic and landing-page-view campaigns, and a market test for South Asia.
- Google Ads: Search and Shopping campaigns for the store.
- TikTok: an awareness campaign and a conversions campaign (SAR 7.4K combined, 1,950 conversions on the conversion campaign at SAR 2.68).
- Snapchat: an awareness campaign and a traffic campaign that took $22.4K and delivered 272K clicks at $0.08.
Reading the results
- The 26.43 ROAS belongs to a campaign that spent less than a tenth of the GCC campaign's budget, so it reads as a small, efficient pocket and not as a replacement for the larger campaign.
- The South Asia test returned 0.19 ROAS on three purchases and is switched off in the screenshot, an example of a market test that was read and stopped.
- Shopify (last year) reports 440,444 sessions, a 1.53% conversion rate, an SAR 335.12 average order value and SAR 2.46M total sales. SAR 1.66M of that is attributed to marketing across all channels.
Figures are read from the screenshots shown below. They are account-level or platform-reported numbers, not audited revenue, and enquiry or order quality is not in these exports.
